Short films have been making a bigger impact on audiences than ever before. We view a curated selection of Oscar-winning and Oscar-shortlisted short films from recent years, including, when possible, the latest releases. The class will view and discuss several films during each session. Each of the short film categories—Live Action, Documentary and Animated—will be included. All new films!
Frank Izzo, over his 40-year career on Madison Avenue, has mastered the shortest film category of all: the 30 second TV commercial. A home movie buff since he was a kid, Frank has been lucky enough to have one of his short plays produced and his promotional short film for Film Fest New Haven presented on the big screen.
