LLI committees

These are our committees:

Program

  • Curriculum Selects Facilitators and schedules courses for fall, winter and spring.
  • Special Events Plans and presents day trips, the Lunch & Learn lecture series and other events.
  • Membership Enrolls members and registers them for courses.

Communications

  • Catalog Assembles and prepares the fall and spring course catalogs.
  • Marketing Promotes LLI membership in the community.
  • Newsletter Writes and edits LLINES, our newsletter.

Services

  • Hospitality Serves refreshments at Lunch & Learn and other LLI events.
  • Volunteer Processes mailings for LLI and, on request, for NCC.
  • Recruitment Seeks to inform and recruit LLI new members.
  • Human Resources Finds LLI members to get involved as volunteers.
  • Administration Handles purchasing, our electronic equipment and miscellaneous office requirements.

Others

  • Five other committees provide services to the Board of Directors: Policy, Finance, Nominations, Elections, and Scholarships.
