If you were to pick a person at random and ask them “Do you know who the Anglo-Saxons were?” They would quickly and emphatically reply “Oh, of course!” Upon closer questioning you would probably hear references to either the Norman Conquest of 1066 or the World Heritage Site royal ship burial and treasure at Sutton Hoo.  After this the conversation would get more generalized until you found yourself discussing the weather.  But there is far more to the Anglo-Saxons than this. Join us for a robust view of their full history!
