Join us for interesting and stimulating discussions on news issues and subjects of c
urrent interest. Each week we discuss two topics for 30 minutes each, led by one of the facilitators, and then have an open discussion of current events. Class members are asked to suggest topics for discussion.
Maria Petti is a graduate of Fairfield University and Brooklyn Law School. She has practiced corporate law with an emphasis on governance for almost 30 years. Maria has been a local publicly elected and appointed official and enjoys travel and reading.
Gary Bischoff has an MS in Electronics Engineering and Computer Science from Columbia University. He was an adjunct professor at SUNY New Paltz, teaching electronics and microcomputers. A retired electronics engineer and business owner, Gary has taught courses on Electronics, Current Events, and Chinese Culture. With Wang Wei, he has co-authored China: Insight into History, Culture and People, published this year. Gary currently serves as the president of LLI.
