Of The Big Three Allied leaders in World War II, we covered Winston Churchill in a prior course; now we focus our attention on Joseph Stalin. In a future course we will explore FDR. We learn about the rise of Stalin, his ideology, and life in Stalinist Russia. Attendance at the previous course is not a pre-requisite. Revised course

Mark Albertson is the historical research editor at Army Aviation magazine and the historian for the Army Aviation Association of America. He has authored books, written articles for magazines and newspapers and presents courses and talks on history, current events and politics. He was presented with a General Assembly Citation by both houses of the state legislature in Hartford for his efforts in commemorating the centennial of the battleship Connecticut.
