Why do some jingles worm their way into our ears? Who were the real Mad Men (and women) of advertising? What’s so good about Super Bowl ads, and so bad about medical ads?  The answers to these and other questions will be answered along with lots of color commentary, clips and discussion led by self-described “Junior Mad Man,” Frank Izzo.

Frank Izzo spent over 40 years on Madison Avenue writing print, radio and TV ads. As a junior copywriter fresh out of Journalism School, he learned the trade from the real Mad Men (and women). Frank has been a finalist for many industry awards, including Clio, One Show and Addy.  In addition to teaching courses on advertising and film at LLI, Frank has taught a course on advertising at Connecticut State Community College/Norwalk.
