Lifetime Learners has arranged this series on a variety of topics. Each session is led by a different presenter, with his individual opinions and approach. All attendees are encouraged to take an active part in the discussions.
January 26 – Going on an Africa Safari
Les de Villiers, safari expert with vast experience in Africa, covers all aspects of this type of journey from the planning stages to the actual experience in the field. Â Illustrated with his own photographs.
February 2 – The Middle East
Dave Davidson, has facilitated previous LLI programs on the important topic, leads a discussion on the hotbed of conflict. Â Is there any hope for peace?
February 9 – Key West “I want to go where it’s warm”
Gary Lishnoff, a facilitator with LLI and enthusiastic Key West visitor, will be the historian and tour guide on the adventure. Â Slides and videos will take you on this journey.
February 16 – Current Events
Sidney Goldman, is our new Facilitator for current events, Spring 2012. Â He is an admitted news junkie reminds participants that our views on major issues are often quite different than those in other parts of the country.
February 23 – Green Housing: New Trends in Building and Home Improvement
William Scott Janhonen, brings a unique integration of disciplines to his consulting expertise having experience in construction, retail operations, green consulting and green washing. Â How to protect yourself from being hoodwinked.
