Drawing Flowers with Colored Pencils
July 16, 23, 30, August 6
Come and appreciate beautiful flowers each week. After a short lecture on the science behind the species and close observation, we draw in pencil then trace our drawing and finally render it in color.
Required Materials: Sketching pad 9”x12“ or 11”x14”, a range of pencils 2H-2B, a small jar or bottle to hold flowers, a kneaded eraser, a set of 12 colored pencils (Prismacolor or equivalent), and a loupe. Instructor supplies flowers and tracing paper.
